Honestly WTF DIY necklace

I was really inspired by this DIY post on Honestly WTF that I decided to give it a go myself. I wandered down to the local $2 shop and looked around for things that I could make do with. Unfortunately I didn't end up with neon cord or brass hoops, but in the end some leather cord and large (cheap) gold rings ended up doing a half decent job. I also made it smaller by using less circles because I'm not a fan of huge necklaces. It only ended up similar in concept to the one on HonestlyWTF but I'm 100% happy with the outcome.

Here is the final product:

And here's what I started with:

You can find the tutorial HERE.

I have actually been DIYing a lot recently. I have also made another necklace, a dress and a sweet-arse belt. All of which I will post about soon in an all over DIYed outfit post. COMING SOON!

Out of this world

Shopping! I went shopping (new shopping not op shopping) for the first time in weeks a few days ago. It was amazing! Winter fashion is everywhere now and I'm definitely glad. I'm a huge fan of this season's new looks. Here I am wearing two of my favourite buys from the day.

This dress was on sale because it was the last one in stock, I got it for half price, which is lucky because I'm not entirely sure whether we're in love or not. The cut is gorgeous and flattering and I love the low back, and I am a huge fan of galaxy prints and velvet; however I don't like the yellows and greens in the print, I wish they had have been reds and purples in the sky, much prettier!

These boots were an awesome find. They are current season, I saw them full price in the store and then found a pair, barely worn, in the box of damaged shoes in the back. They were a steal for $10 because some fantastic person couldn't handle a little bit of fading around the seams. They are unbelievably comfortable for a pair of heels and even fit my calves pretty well which doesn't usually happen. I am going to wear the absolute shit out of these this winter!

And that's all for now. Loving my bargain buys!

Fill four bags for $30

This Easter I went back to the country to see my family and we ended up at a gorgeous little market. At the market there was a church clothing sale and it was SO good! Clothes just everywhere! And none of them were more modern than the 90s. As usual, I bought up a storm. Just couldn't control myself. I ended up filling four plastic bags and paying $30 for the lot. My boyfriend was frowning as he knows I'm broke, but when I told him that I would have paid that for one item of clothing let along all of them he was a little less disgusted.

Just as I was posting this I realised that I have forgotten to take photos of the two greatest finds of the lot: a vintage striking red blazer with gorgeous gold buttons and an eighties parker jacket with an insane cut and a cute print, both of which I am going to wear over jeans and dresses all the time this winter!

I'll post pictures soon so look out for it, definitely worth it!
