I'm starting this blog to keep track of the next six months. See, I recently moved to the city with a bunch of savings and big plans for university. Then the world crumbled and I was left with no where to live, no course and no money.
I got things sorted out quickly enough, I now have a small income, a place to live and plans to go to India in August for four months; but not much to do until then except work.
I was sitting and wondering what I would do with myself, considering that every cent I make is going to go towards India, and how I could possibly enjoy myself for the next few months. Then I remembered an Oscar Wilde quote:
"
Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination.
And I realised that the fun of the next few months will be trying to make the very most from the very littlest.
I'm a creative at heart, with a love for fashion, vintage, books, sewing, photography, illustration, partying, social outings and magazines. So I'm just going to keep going with all these things but on a tight budget, which means being smarter, making more and being exceptionally creative with what I already have!
I'm going to document my attempt at living glamorously despite being broke on this blog, more for myself than anyone else... so that in six months I can look back and see that I have actually accomplished something.
Good luck to me, right! ...Right?
Good luck, and I'm sorry for what happened to you. I'm subscribing:)
